An Update On Isabella Grace

Thank you, Prayer Warriors, for interceding on our Isabella's behalf! It is truly amazing to see God's hand over this situation! I cannot express hows covered we feel right now by the love and support of you all, our family, and friends. I am seeing God move in so many ways through this pregnancy, this labor, and now this time that Isa is in the NICU.

She is still on the high frequency ventilator, b/c she is a little fighter and wants to breathe on her on, which ends up putting her in distress. However, through the night, after all of our family had just come to pray for over her, including the kids, she started to improve a lot. She is now only at 38% ventilator instead of the 100%. That is great and means she may be able to move to the regular ventilator some time today. Although, as of a few minutes ago she kept trying to breathe on her own again. The doctors said that as long as her vitals remain fine, they are not going to keep sedating her and are letting her do her own thing. I can't believe I am excited about the possibility of her being on a regular ventilator. Who would have thought? She does have to stay in the NICU for at least 7 days due to the antibiotics they are giving her, but we look forward to it not having to be longer to that. So, please continue to pray!

We did get to spend the night with her again and it was so sweet to be able to pump knowing she is just 15 feet away. We have gotten good rest knowing we can just pop out of bed to go check on her at anytime. The staff is AMAZING and we know that God is using this as in opportunity to bring him glory. It is awesome to see how the power of prayer works. It is truly a Romans 8:28 moment for us, for Him.

Tim and I are so humbled by all of you and we can't wait to show her off to each of you when I get a minute to post pictures. We are so blessed..."Too blessed to be depressed".. . we saw this sign in front of a church on the way back to the hospital yesterday and it made us smile. So, please keep praying because we are watching the power of prayer unfold for our little girl. Wait until you see how WHITE she is. Yep, Corinna, you were right, she is a white-Whitie. Although, maybe her hair will be a medium brown instead of gold like the last 2 little guys.

Love and Thanks,
Veronica and family

Hey girl! I just saw Natalie's twitter that your sweet baby girl has arrived. Then I rushed to you blog and was so sad to see that she is having a rough time. I know all too well how life in the NICU can be. My Walker was there for 2 weeks and had his own bout with the ventilator. I am going to pray for you and your family. For peace, for comfort, for healing for baby Isabella, and for God to just show His glory through all of this. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help. I'll pass along the prayer request on my blog!

I just got home and immediately came to check for an update of our niece. Sis...you guys have the whole town of Fresno and part of Orlando, Florida and even Costa Rica praying for you guys!!! They keep asking me for updates. Isabella is really making an impact on alot of people because it's urging them to take some time to get on their knees and come before the Lord. I am not surprise to know that God is hearing all of these prayers...HE HEARS OUR CRY!!! She is a big baby...she's probably going to be tall like her daddy!!! I thought she'd have brown hair. Loved the pic you sent me today...I was at my cousin's house when I got it so I was able to share with them!

We love our beautiful niece more and more each day! Can't wait to smother her with hugs and kisses lol.

LOVE YOU<3

XOXOXO Sis
