(Front cover is a picture of 2 little girls, holding ice cream cones, and it says 'BEST FRIENDS'... it was all hand made by Karizma)
Inside of card reads:
"PSALM 37:4
LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART!
To Baby Bella,
I know that our friendship is going to be the best one I have and will ever have! When Mom told me it was a girl, I already loved and cherished you. I have loved you for as long as I can remember. I know that you and I will have a relationship that other sisters will envy. Even when you were at the hospital, I could still feel you in my arms. I constantly thank God for giving me the biggest desire of my heart.
I love you forever,
Your Big Sister"
Back of card reads:
"And just like the bible says in Matthew 7:8 "Ask and it will be given to you: seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you, for everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.
This verse reminds me of you because I asked for you and I got you!
Isabella, I will be the greatest sister I can be for you! Made with lots of love: Your Big Sister!"
I find this card to be confirmation that God is working in our daughter's life. Isn't it beautiful? It brought tears to my eyes, and I look forward to the day that Isabella can read it and truly appreciate Karizma for all she is worth... Far above rubies!

Did you guys see the button on my side bar? Amber over at Striving For 31 was sweet enough to put it together for us. What a blessing! Feel free to grab it, put on your sidebar, and please, continue praying for Isabella.

Tim and I got up early and headed to the NICU to see our little princess. How sweet she is and how we have longed and ached to have her home with us. So, you can imagine how much it meant to have this in the bassinet...
FINALLY!! PRAISE GOD, OUR ISABELLA GRACE IS HOME WHERE SHE BELONGS!
She was discharged this morning around 11:15am and Tim and I are so thankful for the staff in the NICU, for our wonderful doctor/NICU pediatrician-Dr. S., and for all the wonderful family and friends that were praying and came to visit and pray over her, as well.
Tim loved this...
THE EMPTY NICU BASSINET!
"WE'RE GOING HOME, SWEET GIRL!"
DADDY LOVED TELLING ISABELLA ABOUT THE SUN ON HER FACE AND THE WIND ON HER CHEEKS.
MOMMY LOVED SITTING NEXT TO YOU ON OUR RIDE HOME. YOU DID SOOO WELL.
Walker had been talking about making a special 'welcome home' banner for about a week now. He insisted that it be done in pink paint and lots of glitter since she is a girl. He definitely made it perfect for her. Actually, all the kids, including Miguel and Karizma, put there own special touches on it. I love the stickers on the bottom that read, "We love our little sister". These are some special kids. (By the way, this was all Walker's idea, and I came home to find it done and up on the wall the other night.)
Here are some of her proud brothers giving her some breast milk in a bottle.
I have been nursing her since that feeding and she is a natural born nurser. I am so blessed. I was very nervous, but she was patient with me, and 'talked' me through it. So, I am about to nurse her again, as we begin our welcome home party, which was also Walker's idea. (He kept telling us that he wanted to get her a Cold Stone ice cream cake, so it was so sweet how God blessed him with a Cold Stone gift card for his birthday. His precious, giving heart was so happy when he opened that gift card! He immediately exclaimed, "Now I can buy Isabella her cake!" So, Tim took him to Cold Stone once we got home, with the baby, from the hospital today, and God continued to bless Walker with the desire of his heart. I guess they don't carry many of the cakes in the store. You usually have to order at least one day before. The cashier asked Walker to pick one and see if they had it... what a sweet kiss from God it was for Walker when the cashier said, "We definitely have that one!" Walker is seeing God in all things and I am so blessed that my children know all the glory belongs to Him.
So, off we go to toast Isabella Grace's homecoming with sparkling apple cider (Thanks, Auntie!) and ice cream cake and it is all because of Jesus!
XOXO,
VERONICA
