I Love A Good Deal!

As many Americans can relate, things have been tight in the $$ area. So, either we go without or have to catch a really good deal. We had to venture off the mountain to run some errands and it was a good night!

First, we went to Karizma's orthodontist. She got her retainers today. I thanked God for having all this paid off beforehand, over a year ago, because there is no way we could have afforded it now. So, in my book, great deal!!!

Secondly, I was starving, but did not want to spend a ton on food for myself and 5 kids. We stopped at Little Caesars. What a deal, $5.00 for a large pizza. We were all happy and fed!

Thirdly, (is that a word??) gotta have dessert right? So, we headed to McDonald's and the kids got free kiddie cones. I love free!

Fourthly, (yeah, I realize they probably aren't words, but just bear with me, ok?) I had to head to Babies R Us to buy a baby shower gift. I went to check out an item and found that if I bought one, I could get the second 50% off. Woohoo...so, I was able to get myself one, too! It was a two sided Boppy cover that sells regularly for $20. With the 50% off deal, it goes down to $10, and with my $5 off coupon, it went down to $5.00...then add my 15% off coupon and I walked out with that cover for $2.00!!! How cool is that? The boys picked it out and I was happy they didn't pick the bright pink one for Isabella Grace. They picked a pretty purple one. Not that I am against pink, but something tells me it is possible to have pink overload.

Fifthly, well, there wasn't a fifthly, but hey...you read about the HUGE savings on the Boppy cover, right?!?! I have a feeling my SIL, Nat, will be so proud of me!
