Unless you are here on a day when a child is coming out of my womb and into the world. All of my babies, every single one of them, have been born on a rainy day. God knows the desire of my heart and on the day he chooses to bring new life into our family, he blesses me with rain. I always see it as a sweet kiss from the Lord. His way of letting me know he is in all the details and that he loves me that much. That he would remember how best to make it the most special day possible. So, although I can count how many times it has rained since we have moved up to the mountain (15 months ago), on one hand, it is a blessing that God never forgets me on the days I give birth.
That's why when we were listening to the news on the radio, as we enjoyed the lightening show from the van in the parking lot of the grocery store, we laughed as we heard what the announcer said:
"San Diego has been without any rain for quite awhile. Last time San Diego had rain fall was on June 16th."
June 16th was the day our Isabella Grace was born.
It was a sweet reminder to thank the Lord, to thank Jesus, for being such a sweet Daddy. One that knows me, inside and out.

That is sweet...
It sure does make you feel special that He knows and remembers ALL the tiny details, doesn't it? That is such a blessing to me, in my relationship with Todd...just how we compliment one another so well...I KNOW it is because of the Lord. He knows how I am and made someone just for me!
I also love when you pray for something that seems so small, you may not even want to tell anyone for fear they would think you're nuts...and then He answers it....and you KNOW He heard you, and cares even about the small things!
How awesome!!
