Because of you I have become the mother I am today to my precious and loving children.
Because of you I have learned how to love my husband for who he is, not what I can make him into to.
Because of you I know how to cook (just not as good as you), do laundry, clean my house, drive, speak spanish, sew on a button, paint my toenails, shave my legs, change a diaper, use a glue gun, enjoy the moment, be grateful for what I have, apply scripture to everyday life, worship the Lord, pray.
Because of you, I know JESUS, and I am saved so that I may have everlasting life through him. You have been my shepherd in so many ways, and I thank God for you, Mami, and for all you have instilled into my life and that of my children.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY Sis!!!! I hope you feel really, really special because you are very special to me:D
I loved the pic of two of my favorite people! I honestly have one of the best mother in laws in the entire world! People are blown away when they hear of the awesoem relationship I have with my mother in law. They tell me with a knot on their throat that they wish they had the same kinda bond with theirs. I don't feel like a daughter in law to her...I feel like a daughter and that's because from day day..she's nurtured me with love. I still remember the day we went looking for "my bridal shower gift" from her (I'll have to share that story with you but in private lol) and she pulled into the park lot at one of the malls, she looked into my eyes, held my hand and said "Susan, I welcome you into our family, you are now like a daughter to me" she then procedeed to tell me all about someone and somthing that's really dear to the family...Amanda! She confided in me because I was now FAMILY!!! She's also taught me alot...she's saved so many dinners for me...thank God for mother's and their good recipes:D You have an awesome mother my sis! Now...I need to call my mommy cause I miss her....she's my another HUGE blessing in my life....another amazing woman!

awww... that was so awesome!!! I remember she taught me how to shave my legs... haha...and too cook (boy, I thought cooking was a cinch... wrongo!!!), she still teaching me how to clean the house properly... sigh... i never learn... :) elisa
