1. Never go the day after Christmas. Everyone and their mama, and grandmama for that matter, will be there, too.
2. Make sure to catch the parades. They are totally worth the 45 minutes you will sit and save a spot for your family. Make sure to bring a light blanket or towel to sit on. Or, go early and grab a bench and sit comfy!
3. The Nemo ride is sooo cute! However, definitely see it when it is still sunny outside. Going on at night does not do it justice.
4. Stop at all the picture sites and have them take lots of pictures and place it on your 'card' (it is the credit card looking thing that they somehow put all your pics on). You can have them take pictures at each character greet and meet and at places like the front of the castle and purchase a CD at the end of the night. There is also someone on the west side of the castle taking pictures during the fireworks that would make for really awesome pictures.
5. If your kids like Star Wars they will love the Jedi training show. I really liked it, too. Grab one of the tables on the side, so you are comfy and still have a good seat.
6. Definitely do the fast pass for the big rides...lines can get crazy. Especially for Indiana Jones. Great ride!
7. Have your almost tall enough kids wear their 'tallest' shoes. The extra height might be what gets them on that special ride.
8. Be aware that some rides, usually the ones in Fantasyland, do shut down during parades. Check with an employee.
9. If you have small children, ask about the child swap...it will help you each get on the ride, and not have to wait 2 separate times.
10. Remember, this is the happiest place on earth, so don't let long lines, crowds, heat, and cranky children ruin your day. The lines will die down, the crowds dissipate, and the day cool down. Honestly, just seeing the smiles on my kids faces is worth going through any of that.
Say HI to Mickey for us!

Fast Pass- You will see 'fast pass' machines at the front of the bigger rides, like Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, etc...you stick your ticket in the machine and it will pop out a pass for you to return at a later time, but go through the fast pass line which is usually 5-6 times faster than the regular line.
Baby friendly rides- The rides in FantasyLand, like Peter Pan (a must do!!), Merry-Go-Round, the storybook boat ride, are all baby/little child friendly. But, beware. some rides can be a little spooky, like Snow White. Also, the Haunted Mansion is baby friendly, but can scare a child afraid of the dark. I enjoy ALL the rides, but I do think that the Buzz Lightyear ride, at Tomorrow Land is the ride that even the girls can go on, but you will have fun riding because it is like you are in a video game. It is one of our favorites.
Snacks- I forgot to mention, that yes, you can bring snacks. We always bring juice-boxes and lots of munchies and water bottles. I am sure you could pack some sandwiches and save some cash...but, we have found that if we go to the Carnation Restaurant at the front of the park, we can buy a regular meal and split it because they are so large in portions. They have lockers on Main Street if you want to stick your food in them, but something tells me that with 4 hungry kids, you need all the food with you that you can bring LOL! Can't wait to see pics!!
