So, we have been on 'Mars' now for almost 3 months. We have come across howling coyotes, rattlesnakes, the weirdest looking bugs ever, some of the nicest neighbors, and the best view I have ever had from one of my windows at home. This is a sunset and we get these every night, folks. I will post more pics later. I also must give credit to the photographer, Miguel. The pictures I tried to take did not do the view from our home justice, but I believe this one did.
I was worried that the older kids would not like it as much up here, but they LOVE it. Even Tim, whom I have always figured for a city boy, has told me often how much he loves it up here. So, we have started using terms like, "Going into town", "Heading back up the mountain", and my favorite "Watch out for the rattler tracks". This is definitely God's country!
